A few years ago I tried on my first pair of Saucony sneakers…since that moment, I’ve been hooked. The comfort level of these XODUS do no disappoint. Extremely supportive for long walks on the trail. Definitely worth a try…I am a bit heavier runner (90+ kg), this shoe offer me a stable and cushioned run. I run on roads (asphalt mostly). I was over pronate but with drop 4mm, my foot hit the road in midfoot and i get a better run style. It wear out much faster, but the price givrs me 2 pair to the same price as 1 "road shoe". Recomend to try it out for overpronaters :)These shoes are a moderately springy, nudging you to run. They fit true to size and are very comfy and grippy. Traction has been great on the vigorous trails I run…can’t feel the rocks under my feet! These shoes fit well and are insanely comfortable.Pros:Running on any type of trail with these is a revelation. I was able to bomb rocky, technical downhills with abandon, as there is nothing too jagged you can't safely step on with these.Grip is fantastic.Cushion is fantastic. My feet don't hurt after 4 hours running in these. They still have decent energy return. These are my new racing shoes for anything over half marathon distance, so basically everything.Pronation control is right where I like it. I want a shoe with a little bit of overpronation control (stability) and these have it, though it's not advertised.Weight is not noticeable.Cons:I drilled every other hole as marked for water drainage, as I have an upcoming race with two river crossings. This helped with water drainage, but these still hold a lot of moisture, are definitely not the Mad River TRs with that wetsuit-like material.Sizing:These run wider than Hokas, thankfully. I think they are perfect.I size up to a US 13, normally a 12.5 road shoe if not hitting steep downhills. Happy to have the extra room to not bang my toes on steep descents (I now do this for all shoes, since a steep hill is inevitable where I run. Will 100% buy again unless I find something better, which isn't looking too likely. The shoe is very comfortable and price is decent. I wear them all day. Initial package came in generic box, I returned it and got a replacement which came with the original box. It's always confusing when I see the generic box and that's why i put 3 star instead of 5 star. Authenticity is not there without the original boxGreat support, great traction, and great looking. Durable yet comfortable construction.A bit narrow, but super comfyAs described. Delivered reasonably promptly. This is an Exodus 10, and is an excellent trail shoe (this review is after nearly 200 kms). Wear is minimal. Comfort is exceptional. I can compare it to other Saucony trail shoes I have used: the Grid Caliber (heavier-feeling and less flexible), Mad River 1 (Lighter, perhaps a little more flex, but hasn't worn as well). The Exodus is little too comfortable and slightly heavy for a racing shoe but I'm not winning anything soon, so this is my go-to shoe for training on any surface- paved or trail. Please, Saucony, keep this model, or don't change things too much in the next model. I've already bought a spare pair in case!GoodOrders an 11 got a 10.5. I read a bunch of reviews online before buying these. All reviews I read said they were slightly heavy, but great running shoes for most levels of trails and great on the road too. They are definitely as advertised and give great support And protection. I didn’t find them heavy at all for trail runners, but not quite as light as some marathon runners.I would definitely recommend these for off road running. Only used them on road for a couple km at a time but had no issues.
