I waited about 6 months before reviewing this backpack but now that it’s been to five countries with me I’ve got to share! I was very impressed with the quality of the leather and lining, especially given the price. The leather is soft and unblemished and the interior is a dark, purplish-brown fabric. The backpack’s structured, minimalist design make it look much more expensive than it actually is, I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on it and people are always surprised when they find out I got it from Amazon.I’ve been able to do a lot of travelling over the past 6 months and this backpack has gone with me everywhere. It’s the perfect size to take out for the day as it’s small enough to be unobtrusive but can hold a water bottle, Kindle, notebook, large wallet, phone, chargers and snacks. It’s not large enough to be the sole piece of luggage for a weekend trip but it’s a good size to be the personal item on airplanes and for day trips. There’s a zippered exterior pocket that rests against your back where I kept my passport and money as I could access it quickly but it also couldn’t be easily pickpocketed. There’s also the option of pulling the straps up so that the backpack becomes a purse or messenger-bag that’s easier to keep track of while moving through crowds. There’s also a large divider zippered pocket and a zippered pocket at the back of the interior. I’ve found that the straps are comfortable and provide enough support that the backpack doesn’t sag but I also haven’t carried around anything heavier than the items listed above.Despite coming with me on trips that included the beach, this backpack still looks great after 6 months of extensive use. It’s retained its structure and the leather hasn’t faded or peeled anywhere, it still looks as though it could be brand new. After being impressed with this bag I bought a larger Heshe bag to bring to work and have been equally pleased, they’re such great quality and design at a reasonable price!
