We rented this pack for a weekend backpacking trip a few times from a local company. It was very comfortable and was a great size for packing everything in. It has all of the padding and straps you need to make it a perfect accessory to your hike. We moved and rented a different pack for another hiking trip and came back with bruised shoulder bones and raw spots. So jumped on here and decided to buy this pack so I don't have to have the experience of renting a sub par pack from a local company again! If you love backpacking, this is the pack for you. It also has a detachable day pack which is a super nice extra!
