Amazon seems to have combined the reviews for all Crossrock clarinet cases: single, double, fiberglass and ABS. This rating is about the FIBERGLASS DOUBLE case. As with all compact cases, the bell and lower joint must remain attached to fit in the case, but I do not consider this a drawback, as it's the tradeoff you consciously make for a more compact case. The only real shortcoming is lack of storage space for accessories - reeds, reed-making tools, etc - but this is not a significant enough shortcoming in my opinion to give the case less than 5 stars. I have two of these cases - black and blue - and the colors and materials are outstanding.
