No, it's not made in America. It is still a great mid-weight down coat. Somewhat more rugged in appearance than the photos, not really "high fashion" or sleek looking but still very smart. The cuffs at the wrist are sewn in, seems like ribbed cotton/poly blend.I'm 6'2", 200lbs, wide shoulders, and the coat fits great. Sleeves not too short. I didn't want the puffy marshmallow man look and this coat, while well insulated, is relatively fitted to my frame. It goes below my butt, which will be great in the cold. Collar goes quite high, which will work well since there is no hood, will keep the neck warm. I can tuck my chin into the collar easily when it's fully zipped.All around, better than I expected for the price.
