I have not used this backpack in wet weather yet, but I am impressed so far with light usage. Here are what I consider to be the pros and cons of this bag.Pros-Small zippered pouches on the waist strap- I love these.Waterproof- The roll over top of the bag is sure to keep everything dry inside.Light- This pack is wonderfully light for its sizeSuper Adjustable- This pack can be customized with the straps and the frame to fit your torso perfectly to make sure the weight is properly distributed on your hips and across your shoulders. I just love how you can make this thing fit your body perfectly.Mesh back- This keeps the pack off your back preventing heavy sweating when it's hot. This is ingenious.Cons:There is only one con that I can find with this bag and it stuck out to me right away. For a waterproof bag, even though you can cinch the stuff pocket tight, it is not a "watertight seal." Conceivably if it is pouring, the water will run down the top of the pack into the pocket. Since the stuff pocket is usually where I put a jacket (which is something I want to stay dry), it kind of irritates me. I wish there was an extra set of buckles on the bottom so that people could have the option to buckle the top over the stuff pocket to protect water from getting in. I am not docking any stars for this because the quality of the pack is so good and it's possible I am wrong and this has been tested in very wet conditions and kept everything dry simply by cinching the stuff pocket very tight, but I have my doubts.
