I wanted a purse that converts to a backpack. This bag does that and more. It holds everything but the kitchen sink, is great quality, and the purse handles are comfortable for carrying (even when you load the bag pretty heavy). The long strap can be used for a messenger bag carry-style or you feed the strap through a loop on the back of the purse, then hook it to the bottom metal rings and you now have backpack straps. It's a quick and easy conversion process, and you don't have to move all your stuff out of or around the purse to make it happen. The material is durable, yet fashionable. I bought the bag knowing I would probably send it back because it wouldn't meet my needs or expectations-- I was wrong! Not only did I keep it, but I love it and it has met all of my expectations!
