Took this bag with me to travel to Iceland in November when it was pouring rain, snowing and lots of hail. I put a small camera bag and extra layers and towels in the bag to do a hike to some ice caves. Had to leave my bag out in the elements while going into the caves. While I was hiking it was snowing and raining, and while leaving the bag outside, it got rained on, snowed on, took the brunt of some intense weather. Everything inside was fully protected!! It was an awesome bag to have to protect your belongings from all of the elements. Would have thought it would be super uncomfortable to hike with something like this, but now I honestly can't imagine not having it!I also have traveled a lot with this bag internationally and locally for both long and short trips. It's my go to bag now. I've only encountered 2 planes that it does not fit underneath the seat by my feet, but I would not recommend this for tall people who need and prefer more leg room.I really love all of the organizational compartments and how waterproof it is without requiring a rain cover option you have to fuss with. Sometimes when you're in the middle of a long cold hike, the last thing you want to do is stop and do more rain prep to keep going.I like that you can remove the straps to use it as a dufflebag if you need to check in the bag for planes.Only real complaint I have is that the little buckle locks sometimes do come undone! If anyone from the company reads this: heeeeelp. Please upgrade this! It isn't the worse thing in the world, but more of an annoyance. It has come undone on me a few times only, most likely after it gets snagged on something and loosens. Thankfully I can't recall it randomly coming undone while walking/hiking, and hopefully it stays that way.Anyways, thanks for a great product! I can see myself using this bag to go back to Iceland again to carry important photography gear while hiking because I know I can truly rely on it!
