Update: After test driving locally, we took our 20 month-old walking all around Rome without a stroller! Cobblestones and construction (and umarell). The Up-Eaze held up its end of the bargain and got us over a couple of jetlagged slumps. We did find it necessary to add a bottle carrier and fanny pack, which was easy and secure using the molle loops, but did add to the cost a bit. We found ourselves wishing the zipper for the main compartment was shorter to limit the chance of the whole thing flopping open. But overall, very pleased!I'm skeptical of anything with <10 reviews, but this backpack lived up to expectations on a couple brief walks. So far we like it for the flexibility. Our little one mostly likes to walk on her own, but with this, we can keep going if we're not at a good stopping point, or if there's an area that's potentially unsafe. There's a lot more adjustability than expected, check out the YouTube channel for tips (google "Up-Eaze Initial Setup"). I will say there's a little bit of overkill with the straps and buckles, but better safe than sorry.
