Lots to like about this dry pack. Usually dry bags don't make great backpacks and vise versa. For short shore trips away from the boat, this fits the bill. It passed my standard "fill it with clothes and toss it in a full bathtub overnight, then kick it around while taking a shower the next day" test--everything stayed dry. On the outside, I like the strap management (see photos). For every strap there's a way to fold or roll the excess length out of the way. The pockets are deep and stretchy. My water bottles go almost all the way in; they won't fall out. I tried a small tripod mount for a GoPro in one pocket and it was big enough and didn't snag the material going in or out. Inside, it's bright orange, making it much easier to find things than a black interior. It's mostly one big compartment, but has a small zipper pocket near the top where you can put keys, etc., and there's a clip inside to secure them. At the bottom on the inside there is a loop, so when you turn it inside out to dry, you have a place to hang it. Well-thought out features. Straps are heavy duty. This is the first Exped brand product I've owned and I'm well pleased.
