To be sure of the best fit, I purchased a Large & XL from Amazon at the bargain prices of $110 & $89 respectively. I would have preferred a different color than Black, but it was too good a price to pass up. It's still September in Southern California, so I won't be able to comment on its utilitarian properties until my ski trip in January, but there are plenty of other reviews on the subject.Back to the sizing. I'm 6-0", 207 pounds, 44" chest, 37" waist, and 33" sleeve length. The Large was definitely the best fit on me. The shoulders fit fine, and there was still an extra inch or two available in the sleeve length if needed. I was able to readily swing my arms around without any restriction in my motion. There's still room for some layering underneath (e.g. silk undershirt and fleece jacket). Other reviewers commented on how warm this jacket is, so I doubt you'll need too much layering ... but all bets are off if you layer like the Michelin Man.Until I actually ski in this jacket in cold and wet conditions, my 5 star rating is conditionally based on the 70% discount price I paid. Otherwise, the sole purpose of this review is to provide readers additional sizing feedback.Purchased for CO ski trip, needed better jacket. This fit the bill. Skied in 15-20deg F with thermal wicking shirt, long-sleeve cotton t-shirt, and medium/light acrylic sweater, this was great, and a little too warm. Has front and under-arm vents. Pocket for phone was nice, along with goggle pocket (used for gloves). Seems durable, no tears from rubbing on trees or branches so far. Fairly lightweight, warm, breathable, sleeves are nice with stretch cuffs under gloves, also powder skirt seemed to work. Did not use hood, or try with helmet. "reflective" shiny stuff inside seems like a joke, it is just paint or ink dots on inside fabric... either way it was warm.I've been looking for one of these since last season and came across this offer that was too good to miss - arrived very quickly - much quicker than estimated all cost covered and rolled in which is always an unknown when buying from overseas and can end up costing more but this was all prepaid and really helps on getting the goods swiftly - so great product, good fit and prompt delivery - well packed and all in the original manufacturers bag and tags - you can't ask for more !For some reason the price of this jacket came down from around $260 to $135. At $135, this is a great jacket. I was concerned because some of the reviews indicated that a "small" might still be too large for me (I am 5'7", 135 lbs), but it seems to fit very well. The jacket fits comfortably, looks great, and performs really well. It keeps the heat in and the cold wind out. You would be hard-pressed to do better than this jacket at $135.Was a great quality ski jacket that we ordered for our son. Ordered a size larger than needed to allow for additional layers. Turned out to be way too large as the jacket was well insulated and he would not need the additional layers. Returned the jacket. (Update: got charged$55 to return the jacket. No explanation given except restocking fee. So buyer beware. Jacket had all tags and was in same condition as received).Returned since the sizing is a bit bigger than the 1st edition. Since I'm size S (5'10" 145lbs) I have to look elsewhere. But it's a GREAT VALUE for those at the right size, truely an art piece. I don't like the massive collar however.Fits as expected, warm, lots of useful pockets. I snowboard with this jacket; no need to layer and it's so warm! All I wear is a base layer and this jacket. When I'm taking a break from snowboarding, this jacket holds my goggles, phone, gloves, lock, headband, and it still has more pockets for me. I recommendbought this for my husband for a upcomming ski trip, very happy with the fit. it has tons of pockets. looks and feels like good quality, it should take the falls well with out tearing up. happy with my purchase
