If you’ve been looking for an innovative and high quality tennis backpack, look no further. I first heard about ADV on YouTube and after doing a bunch of research, I ended up purchasing both the backpack and the Jetpack Pro bag. They both rock. But I’ll make a separate review for the bag. These are not cheap bags—they are priced as premium products and I think ADV delivered on the value for the money. It’s well built, beautifully designed, and just extremely well thought-out. The grey material on the outside is soft yet tough. All the straps, handles, zippers and pockets are well constructed and feel durable. I was concerned the “lava” color might be too feminine for me, since it’s often described as “hot pink” or “Nadal pink”, but that’s really not the case. There are multiple colors used, and only a couple straps trend anywhere near coral or pink. For the most part, it’s a darker coral to a nice red which is the liner color throughout. It looks great.Size-wise, it’s much smaller than the Jetpack Pro bag, but still fits a surprising amount. It sits comfortably on the back, it can stand up on the ground without falling over, and it somehow doesn’t seem bulky even full of racquets and stuff. There are so many pockets that it would be hard to list every one of them. And they’re different types of pockets that can fit a variety of items and uses. You probably won’t even know about all the little pockets or secrets of the bag until you’ve had it for awhile.I do not know of another tennis backpack that markets itself as being able to hold 3 racquets. This was a big selling point to me. As someone who sweats a lot, I like having the grips exposed to dry, but it’s nice that there’s also a hood that can flip out and zip over the grips if I want to protect them. The “cooler” pocket on the side can fit an entire 32 oz water bottle no problem, keeping cool throughout a full session. Very nice. Nothing on this bag feels like a gimmick, it was designed to actually be useful. The hook on the back might seem like a minor thing, but it’s funny how much more accessible it makes the bag while providing space on the bench. Every single time I hang my bag on the fence, someone says “oooohh” and compliments the bag.One thing that’s really nice, the main compartment can open all the way from top to bottom, creating a locker effect while hanging on the fence. There’s a liner at the bottom to prevent anything from falling out. It’s super cool. The only other bag I know that might be considered a competitor to this one can only open from the top, so you’d need to dig down into the bag to access stuff. The ADV one is clearly superior design. The point I’m trying to convey is that it’s just well thought out. Even on the back, between the straps, there’s a handle in case you just want to pick it up conveniently. This bag is super impressive and as long as you’re not expecting it to be a massive bag for a dozen racquets, then you can’t go wrong with this backpack.I don’t normally do reviews, but ADV’s bags impressed me enough that I want to support them. They’ve brought innovation to some products that have basically been the same for decades. Way to go ADV!
