Well I got this pack pack after seeing it in an airport I was travelling through. I fell in love with the design and had to have it, so I purchased it off Amazon.I fly A LOT! I am Platinum Stauts and I have put over 100,000 miles on this pack pack. It has been stuffed under seats, in overhead compartments, dragged to every job site site I go to and it is still in great shape. I have really worked this pack hard. The Good things:It has a ton of pockets, have not counted, but there is a lot.Fits my large Dell lap top with room to spareIt holds my IPad with lots of paddingComfortable back padding and shoulder padstop carry handle is well paddedThe front pocket un-zips fully allowing it to fold down and it has a bunch of pockets inside and a mesh on to hold my passport and USB drives. All of the pockets except the small front upper pocket un-zip all the way so you can get at stuff easilyZippers work great, no issuesBad things:So far I can not find anything I don't like.Even after all the miles, in and out of planes, cars, Job sites, hotels, over filled, etc. there is no signs that this bag will need to replaced anytime soon. And, it looks professional, not like you stole it from some high school kid or a tourist.Overall a great backpack and I will buy another one if this one wears out someday.I've been looking for years for a bag like this. There's a wide strap/pad on the back of it so it can be attached to a wheeled carry on. I travel only with a tablet, so I was able to cut out the laptop sleeve and I have enough room for a 1-2 day trip (business casual). The base compartment on the bottom is the perfect size for all the chargers, cables, and small electronics that a business person normally travels with. The middle compartment has a padded leaf foldout that makes it perfect for a tablet. The front-most pocket is convenient for all the stuff you need easy access to (mobile phone, passport, etc). It's fairly rigid, so it can stand on its own. There are even little loops at the end of the backpack straps for easy adjustment. Small enough that it fits under airplane seats. When paired with a travelpro 20" spinner, I can travel for a week and not check luggage.A lot of thought that went into this bag. It's a sensible number of compartments such that you can keep stuff separated, but not so many that you end up looking through the entire bag for that one thing that you need.I highly, highly recommend this bag.Pros:Great ProtectionExcellent CompartmentsWater ResistantCons:Limited Space for my needsBulky (Could be good or bad)PriceI returned this bag about 24 hours after I got it. Overall I will say it felt and looked like I had a suitcase on my back. The price was alright at the time but, Amazon had a sale on J-World Carmen bags for $10 and it had a sternum clip which I really prefer. The J-World also had more space but not as many compartments as the Solo Ex.For $57 this bag was not worth keeping. Maybe I will and maybe I won't regret returning it.The Solo pack looked sturdy and welt built. It fitted my ASUS ROG 551 perfectly. That is all I can sayAmazon customer service is the best, hassle free return with UPS pickup at no charge0.5 stars for bulk, -0.5 for price = 4 StarsThis is a surprisingly good bag. Places for everything I need. Fits my laptop, ultra book and tablet plus two folders, headphones and cables for everything. And back up battery and hard drive. Wow. Lasted 2 years solid hard travel in planes all over the world. I really dig it.... So now that I have had it for 2 yrs, would I buy this again? For less than $50, it's still an awesome bag. The padding on the bottom needs to be thicker and perhaps a protective outer layer. May add some more $ but it's still cool. My co is moving to smaller ultra books, and my personal is also an ultra book. So I will look at other bags soon. Solo has some stylish smaller bags to check out... so stay tuned. After a trip to an electronics store I ordered 3 backpacks to try. This one was best for my needs. Lots of compartments, a strap to hold the laptop into it's section, and decent padding throughout. I am a petite woman (5'3" 120lbs) and the backpack length and shoulder straps were adequately designed to fit my frame, but I could see they would also accommodate larger people. I liked that the backpack is study and stands up on its own. This looks much more professional than the Jansport I used to carry college books, and I can set it down without the bag sprawling all over the place. I wish the side pockets accommodated water bottles, but you can place one in the front, bottom compartment. This bag looked the heaviest of the 3 I ordered, but it was actually the lightest one!One month in and this thing is doing nicely. I travel often for business and use this as my carry-on on the plane. Even when it's stuffed, it still fits under an airplane seat. It's been durable so far. Very little scuffing even after constant abuse from heavy travel in airports, trains, taxis. The zippers are holding up fine, no tearing at the seems yet. The bottom pocket on the front works perfectly for your TSA-mandated clear toiletry zip lock bag. You can quickly unzip the pocket and toss the zip bag in the bin to be scanned. The outer pocket works well for passport, and the side pockets perfectly fit my cell phone and collapsible selfie stick. If this bag is still holding up after 6 months I'll come back and give it 5 stars.I purchased this backpack because of the good reviews it carried from other purchasers, and the reviews did not fail. The backpack looks professional, the straps and handle are made of high quality and it holds many pockets and compartments to store your items (whether large or small).Diseño espectacular.Gran robustez.Muchos compartimentos, para PC,tablets, teléfono etc...Cremalleras bien protegidas.Tirantes y espalda acolchados muy cómodos.Un 10.The quality of the materials and construction is great. The backpack will easily hold a 17.3-inch laptop in the dedicated laptop pocket. The other pockets are well thought out and organized, and spacious enough for a few books as well. The pack is comfortable to wear while walking or cycling. A waist strap might make it feel a little more secure at times, but that is truly a minor point. This backpack exceeded my expectations.Il prodotto sembra di ottima fattura e molto solido. L'unico appunto è che il mio portatile da 17.3 " fatica a starci. Un paio di centimetri in più in altezza non avrebbero guastato...Muy buena calidad. Buenos acabados. Reforzada. Muchos compartimentos y bien distribuidos cómoda de transportar. Buena relación calidad precio. Espero que sea útil
