It's not always easy finding wide shoes but these Florsheim fit great. Comfortable without a break in period but I'm not walking too much when I wear them. They have a rubber sole with good flexing around the ball of the foot. Also good styling. Giving it 4/5 stars since it's slightly roomy compared to other dress shoes but may be because it's 3E and not 2E. No fault of Florsheim but wish they offered 2E. Guess it was a compromise for those with wide (2E) and extra wide (4E) feet.Not the best shoes ever made.. But they are cheap enough to buy a couple sets. Still I like them for everyday at the office. Once they start looking worn down, even after you shine them up a couple times, you can just toss them. Fit me without issues.I bought both black and brown. They can't take ANY missteps or bumps without ridiculous blemishes. I've had to use black sharpies to cover up embarrassing "chips" (particularly around the edges of the soles). Fit and comfort are just OK. If you're on your feet vs sitting at a desk, these probably are not the shoes for you. Also worthy to note ... they have steel shanks, so if you travel and have TSA Precheck, you'll still have to take your shoes off.These are by far the worse Florsheims I have ever purchased. The quality is just horrible. The seam at the sole is made from a synthetic that is made from a very very thin layer. If you should nick this the underlying material is white. So when you are wearing black shoes and you have all of these white "chips" along the edge of your shoe it yells "cheap".No more Chinese dress shoes for me.I have other pairs of Florsheim shoes and love them.....however, for these shoes the material used between the soles and leather upper appears to be some type of cardboard covered with rubber. If you scuff your shoe on something it will tear this to shreds and the shoe then looks like crap. I bought it on sale for $50 and feel like I got ripped off......now full price is $110? Disappointed in Florsheim quality on this product and would never buy it again. Too late to return to Amazon which is irritating as well. Would have given it a zero rating but that's not possible.These are the most comfortable dress shoes I've ever owned. I wear them for all occasions now. They were my first pair of Florsheim's and I think they have found a loyal customer if all of their shoes are made with the same quality and comfort.Florsheim shoes are so comfortable and easy to wear. I now only buy this brand for formal wear.I think is the new trend, all shoes are getting longer. This runes like a 7.5-8 in length but normal in width. I'm a 3E-4E person that usually wears about 7.
