I’ve read lots of reviews on various websites of these shoes and other shoes from Mephisto. They run the spectrum so good luck finding anything useful. Mephisto, like other shoe manufacturers, has probably lost a certain amount of the their quality but you are still getting a really good shoe. (Global wealth inequality ultimately means most people are getting less for more across the board). This particular pair of shoes is very comfortable and has a solid but lightweight feel. They just look and feel like shoes worth their price.I’m not sure I understand why Mephisto has never accommodated people with wide feet but I just ordered a size up which seems to work for me in this instance.
